- Marilyn M. Bui, MD, PhD is a senior member in the department of pathology at Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, FL. USA. She serves as the Scientific Director of the Analytic Microscopy Core of the cancer center and the section head of bone & soft tissue pathology in the pathology department. She is also a professor and the program director of the cytopathology fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Her mission is to deliver the best possible patient care by combining her expertise in bone and soft tissue pathology, cytopathology, biomarker testing, and digital pathology/AI. She is the study pathologist for multiple research grants and has published over 200 articles, 24 book chapters and 3 books. She is the editorial board member of multiple journals and has received patents devoted to digital pathology and cancer diagnostics.
