Summary
- I am a resident physician, pursuing training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
While completing my medical degree at NYITCOM, I also pursued MBA (Management) and MS (Academic Medicine) degrees. I received a scholarship from NYITCOM's Academic Medicine Scholars program, through which I worked on cardiovascular research while teaching first and second year medical students (lectures, clinical skills laboratory, head and neck anatomy lab) in 2022. During my scholarship year, I also worked as Special Operations Manager for ScribeAmerica. In this role, I helped optimize scribe-provider workflow at an established program, improve quality assurance processes, and led pre-clinical specialty training for scribes in the Northeast region.
Before entering medical school, I worked as Northeast hiring manager and recruiting manager for ScribeAmerica. In this role, I managed scribe hiring managers and recruiting associates in several states in the Northeast region. I trained and provided continuing education for scribe hiring managers, chief scribes, and project managers to ensure positive applicant experience and improved scribe retention rate. I also worked as a medical scribe in several emergency departments and various outpatient clinics in New York City, and trained new medical scribes.
