Dr. Maribel Campos is a neonatologist and perinatologist based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has an extensive academic background, having completed her medical degree, pediatric residency, and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico. Furthermore, she holds an MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences campus, an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, and professional certificates in Wellness Coach and Resilience Trainer from the Mayo Clinic and Resilient Option respectively. Dr. Campos has a proven expertise in newborn care and has been significantly involved in systematic reviews, research publications, and clinical trials focused on early childhood obesity prevention. Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Sigma Xi from Sigma Xi The Scientific Research Honor Society and the District X Special Achievement Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
