Dr. Maria Victoria Peralta is a board-certified UCI Health internist who specializes in primary care.

Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, heart disease, women's health, travel medicine, point-of-care ultrasound in ambulatory medicine, helping adolescents transition from pediatric, parent-supervised healthcare to adult care, care for underserved communities and healthcare equality for LGBTQ+ patients.

Dr. Peralta earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at USC in Los Angeles. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medicine Center in Torrance, followed by a fellowship in cardiology, also at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
