- Dr. Kowzun is a board-certified surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology. She has a demonstrated history of working within the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, including locations at New Brunswick, Somerset, Hamilton, and Belleville. Her goals are to provide the highest quality of care in breast health with a focus on the diagnosis and management of breast cancer. She has subspecialty training in nipple-sparing mastectomy techniques, breast conservation, oncoplastic techniques, and percutaneous biopsy procedures. She is also certified in performing both stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsy procedures through the American Society of Breast Surgeons and currently serves on the Breast Imaging Technologies Committee to certify other breast surgeons in these procedures as well.
