Summary

• I am a current resident CA-3 at UNMC, set to graduate in June 2020. I am looking for a general anesthesiologist position that has adult cardiac and pediatric general cases, as I am looking to continue to refine my skill set. The ideal job would include some component of doing my own cases, yet I am happy to medically direct at times, as well.
  
  The upcoming final year of residency has several additional rotations in cardiac anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia. UNMC is well known in the Midwest for its emphasis on cardiac anesthesia training, including an additional three months of cardiothoracic critical care. There is also a heavy emphasis on peripheral nerve blockade using ultrasound. Time spent at the Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha yields a wide array of experience caring for sick and well inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients. In addition, UNMC frequently provides care to pediatric liver, pancreas, and small bowel recipients.
