Maili Velez-Dalla Tor, MD, is a Family Medicine physician with subspecialty training in Obesity Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine, based in West Covina, CA. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center from 1998 to 2001, after earning her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 1998. Dr. Velez-Dalla Tor is currently Core Faculty at the Emanate Health Family Medicine Residency Program after serving as their Associate Program Director and Program Director, and has previous experience working as a physician at Whittier Pediatrics Group and Kaiser Montebello Medical Offices, as well as serving as the Associate Program Director for the Pomona Valley Family Medicine Residency Program and Faculty at the PIH Health Family Medicine Residency Program. She is actively involved in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine as a member of their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee, and was honored as Preceptor of the Year by the PIH Family Medicine Residency Program in 2007.
