Summary

• I am a board certified gastroenterologist. Completed my training: Internal medicine(3 years), and gastroenterology/hepatology Fellowship (3 years) from SUNY (State University of New York) at Buffalo, New York 1993. Currently my practice limited to gastroenterology and hepatology with a 20 GI group doctors in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition, I teach gastroenterology/hepatology at LSU Medical Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana for several years. My area of interest include inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening, peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), chronic hepatitis B and C,fatty liver disease and various other liver diseases since 1990. I have performed numerous colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde pancreatogram), both diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, liver biopsies, esophageal and anorectal high-resolution manometry(HRM), PEG tube placements, diagnostic and therapeutic paracentesis, and FibroScan (Liver Elastography).
