Summary
- I am a fellowship trained Shoulder and Elbow specialist at the Rosenberg, Cooley, Metcalf (RCM) Clinic. I recognize that each patient’s needs and lifestyle are unique and require unique solutions. With this understanding, I work with each patient to develop the best treatment and rehabilitation plan for his/her lifestyle and functional goals.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude while receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at Brigham Young University and then earned my Medical Degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
I completed my Orthopedic Surgery residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. After residency, I completed a Harvard Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston during which time I spent two months in France with world-renowned shoulder surgeons Pascal Boileau, M.D. and Laurent Lafosse, M.D.
A member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, I am also a member of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons and the American College of Physicians.
In my practice, I have a special interest in:
Shoulder replacements – I use a new technology involving a “stemless” implant system for total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA) and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair
Arthroscopic treatment of shoulder instability
Fractures around the shoulder
