Dr. Lynda McHutchison is an obstetrics and gynecology specialist based in Durham, NC. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center, following an internship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Her medical education was at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, graduating in 1987. Her interest in venous to disease in women led her to an interest in lipedema, a female only fat disorder, and she was part of the first US lipedema standard of care committee. She is passionate about medical mission work, which she has done in Vietnam, and she also travels to Honduras annually for medical mission with the Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation.
