    Dr. Oh spent 14 years as a full-time faculty member at Harvard Medical School and Mass General, and is the Emeritus Program Director of the Harvard-MGH Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship who received the 2022 Golden Apple Teacher of the Year Award from the Harvard Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. He was also a team physician for the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Boston Bruins and Harvard University for over 12 years.

    His clinical and research interests include treatment of shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tears, biceps/triceps injuries, thrower's shoulder & elbow injuries, ACL ruptures, meniscus tears.

    Dr. Oh's clinical reputation and cutting-edge research have garnered national and international recognition. His team received the 2023 AANA Research Grant Award to investigate the characteristics of currently available bioengineered patches for rotator cuff augmentation. In 2021, he received the ASES Research Grant Award for investigating a novel therapy to enhance rotator cuff healing. In 2018, the New England Baseball Journal named Dr. Oh in their Most Influential People list. His research team also won the ESSKA Best Upper Extremity Paper that year. In 2016, he was awarded the ICSES Best Oral Poster Presentation Award for research onshoulder & elbow biomechanics of the softball fastpitch.
