- Luis Palacio, MD (Family Medicine/ Sports Medicine) is one of our region’s few providers with board certifications in both Sports Medicine as well as Family Medicine. He has been practicing in Reno/Sparks since 2009. His passion in Sports Medicine is fulfilled through his service as team physician for Earl Wooster High School, MMA, boxing, and his service as the official medical provider for the pro golfers at Reno’s annual PGA FedEx cup tour event since 2010. Dr. Palacio has served as team physician for various teams including major league baseball, collegiate teams and numerous high schools. He enjoys serving both serious and recreational athletes.
