- I am the Hospital Epidemiologist and Medical Director of the Infection Prevention and Control Department at Stanford Health Care (SHC) and have held this position for more than 30 years. I am also the co-Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training program in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine/Department of Medicine. I am the Lucy Becker Professor of Medicine (ID) and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA.
