  Responsibilities:
  The post-acute attending physician manages complex medical conditions for patients under his/her care. Certifies medical necessity or appropriateness of all admissions, discharges, and transfers. Provides oversight of day to day practice of nurse practitioners. Possesses excellent communication/interpersonal skills and works well with all levels of personnel.
