Summary
- I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases & Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology. I received my MD and PhD degrees from UC San Diego. My main research interest is in the application of Machine Learning and other advanced Bioinformatics tools to predictive modeling and causal inference in clinical data. My vision is to pursue an active practice in Pediatric ID and extend my research to harness the rich data sources that exist in healthcare to improve the delivery of care to children.
