Summary

  • Lori L. Barr, M. D., internationally recognized pediatric radiologist, inventor and best-selling author currently practices in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Barr served for five years as the medical director of the Dell Children's Imaging Center at the Children's Hospital of Austin, Texas. Both the American College of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine named her as a fellow for teaching, research, clinical care and community advocacy. When not teaching marine scientists how to follow a walrus pregnancy with ultrasound, Lori can be found with a mask, fins, and snorkel, ready for adventure. She encourages physicians to remember that life is more than their medical practice. The better they take care of themselves, the more likely their loved ones, practice partners and patients are to be inspired into amazing action in their lives.
