Overview of Lois Beth Hughes
I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have worked with families in mental health for over 20 years. I see all ages for psychiatric evaluations, pharmacological management, and supportive counseling. I am experienced in assessing and/or treating adults and/or teens, and/or children with diagnoses of: Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder/Attention deficit Disorder; Major Depressive Disorder; Anxiety Disorders; mood disorders; Bipolar Disorder (I & II); Autism Spectrum Disorder; Oppositional Defiant Disorder; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; Schizophrenia; etc. I take referrals from other prefessionals as well as self referrals. I refer clients needing intensive therapy to the appropriately trained therapist. I will continue to provide pharmacological management as needed.
