• Dr. Lisa Vendeland, based in Raleigh,NC, is a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is the Director of OB/GYN and Women’s Services at Advance Community Health , where she is working toward growing Women’s Health Equity. She completed her internship in 1995-1996 and residency from 1996-2000 in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford - Bi-County Hospital. She holds certifications in Behavioral Health in Primary Care and has completed the Prestigious Harvard Medical Leadership Institute Program. In addition to her medical training, she also holds Master's in Jewish Studies and Education and Pastoral Counseling. Her rabbinical studies were completed at the ALEPH Ordination Program (2017-2021). Beyond her practice, Dr. Vendeland has contributed to the medical research community, with a publication in The Journal of Reproductive Medicine that was cited 22 times. She has also conducted over 200 FDA Clinical trials as both Investigator and Sub- Investigator. Prior to her current position , she was a member of the core faculty in an OB / GYN Residency program at Cape Fear Medical Center, NC. Dr. Vendeland has been honored with many awards and is a popular invited speaker. Her favorite honor was receiving the Chaplains Award from Community Hospital New Port Richey Florida in 2003.
