Summary

• I am a board-certified internal medicine physician with over twenty years experience in a broad range of practice settings: including hospitalist /outpatient/ambulatory/ urgent care and perioperative medicine. Currently I serve as a medical director for hospice and am privileged to work with some amazing nurses. In addition for the last several years I have served as a collaborating physician for some remarkable advanced practice providers. I have performed extensively in non-clinical roles as well, including assessing criteria and writing supporting narratives for hospital level of services. I have extensive experience in performing compensation exams and writing convincing and detailed medical opinions based upon patient exam and elaborate medical record review. I am looking for a part-time clinical opportunity in the outpatient setting or a full-time non-clinical opportunity that involves a significant writing element. Any opportunity to teach clinical, internal medicine concepts and exam, and/or physiological correlates in clinical medicine would be of great interest to me. While I have a passion for writing and teaching, my most developed skills and talents include attention to detail, exceptional reliability, strong verbal and writing communication, excellent organizational skills, working to meet deadlines as well as resourcefulness, creativity, and compassion.
