Summary
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, graduating June 2019. My interests and strengths include clinical research, eating disorders and Consult-Liaison psychiatry. I currently am preparing two manuscripts for publication with Dr. Alex Scharko at CHOP about pediatric agitation medications, one literature review of the evidence for agitation medications in the pediatric hospital setting and another manuscript based on a post-hoc analysis of several hundred patients at our institution who received either diphenhydramine or lorazepam for pediatric agitation to compare effectiveness of either medication, as little to no current literature exists for clinical guidance on this topic at this time. The latter project was my own conceived idea for which I am collaborating with several of my co-fellows, wrote the IRB manuscript and protocol and am now working with my colleagues to prepare for publication. I have very strong leadership skills, an excellent ability to take initiative, and a very strong work ethic. Areas of strength include psychopharmacology, family work and cognitive behavioral therapy skills.
