Summary
- I am a practicing Gynecologic Oncologist at Novant Health Zimmer Cancer Institute in Wilmington, NC. I completed both my OB/GYN residency and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowships at University of Pennsylvania prior to starting Gyn Oncology fellowship at UNC.
While I practice at the coast, I remain a part of UNC Chapel Hill as an adjunct clinical professor. I continue to conduct research in Gynecologic Oncology at UNC and soon will begin recruiting patients here at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. I am an active educator for our residents here in Wilmington and for the Gyn Onc fellows at UNC.
I am active in both the Mid Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology Society as well as the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
In my clinical practice I focus on a 'whole-person' approach to oncology care. I am dedicated to providing goal-oriented and evidence-based care to all of my patients. While I specialize in robotic surgery, I provide full scope surgical care and administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
