Summary
- I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I received my undergraduate degree as a Registered Nurse at Bethel University, obtaining a Bachelors in Science. I then received my Masters Degree at Memphis University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have worked as a Registered Nurse in many different settings: Charge Nurse in a hospital setting on a Cardiology floor, as a Unit Manager in a long term care facility, Admissions Coordinator in a Skilled Facility, and as a floor nurse on Medical-Surgical floor / Pre & Post Operations / Obstetrics (OB/ Labor & Delivery) in a smaller, local hospital. I used those skills to obtain baseline nursing education before going back to further my education. I have worked as a Primary Care Provider and as a Hospice Nurse Practitioner since obtaining my Family Nurse Practitioner Degree. I have been able to learn more about the various aspects in Health Care by performing a wide variety of skills through working in different areas in the medical field. This, in whole, helps me better serve my patients.
