• Linda L.M. Worley, MD, is Professor Emeritus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine, Departments of Psychiatry and Ob/Gyn.
  
  She earned her B.S. in Biology at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and her M.D. at the Oklahoma University College of Medicine where she also completed her residency training in Psychiatry. Her academic career at UAMS was devoted to a wide range of leadership roles where she advocated for the well-being of physicians throughout. Dr. Worley served as core faculty in the Vanderbilt Center for Professional Health Distressed Physicians Course for over a decade. She became the Regional Associate Dean of the UAMS Northwest College of Medicine in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2018, and led the program's expansion to offering all 4 years of medical school including a competitive 3-year MD track there. In 2023, she became an internal faculty executive coach and the inaugural UAMS College of Medicine Chief Wellness Officer. She retired from UAMS in April 2024.
