- Linda Chaudron, MD, MS is a psychiatrist and executive leader in academic medicine based in Portland, ME. She serves as Vice President and R.G. Bing-You Chair, Department of Medical Education at MaineHealth (MH) and is Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). Leading the Department of Medical Education, she oversees the continuum of medical education including medical student education, graduate medical education, continuing medical education, interprofessional education, simulation laboratory and standardized patient training, and library services. Prior to joining MaineHealth in 2021, she was Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where she was a faculty member for 22 years. During her career, Dr. Chaudron has held many leadership positions in medical schools, health systems and and national organizations. Dr. Chaudron has conducted research in perinatal depression and anxiety and has numerous recognized publications covering topics such as screening for perinatal depression in pediatrics, anxiety disorders in perinatal women and treatment of psychiatric illnesses during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In addition, Dr. Chaudron publishes and lectures on topics related to gender equity, diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as topics in medical education and leadership.
