Dr. Huerta-Saenz currently works as a pediatric endocrinologist and physician-scientist at the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric endocrinology and Diabetes at Penn State Children's Hospital/Penn State College of Medicine. She is currently working on clinical/translational research in pediatric Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes mellitus and medical nutrition therapy (MNT). Her current project is the role of MNT on early onset Type 1 Diabetes.
