I pray God will direct me to assist others to be healthy to live and work on the battlefield for our LORD! I graduated from Indiana University (IUPUI) with a B.S. in nursing in 1981. I worked as a registered nurse at IU Health for 40 years doing Psych, MED/SURG, and OR. Neurology is my love. I have completed certifications in neuroscience and critical care. I attended the University of Indianapolis (U of I) in 2008 and graduated M.S. in nursing education. I was adjunct faculty for 7 years teaching (fundamentals M/S and critical care to nursing students. I have held national certifications in neuroscience and critical care. In November of 2019, I became certified in Primary Care as a nurse practitioner. My DNP was completed in December 2021 with a focus on motivational interviewing for patient retention in treatment. I currently work in Mental health and addictions. My hobbies are gardening, traveling, and baking.
