Dr. Lida Aghdam is an Internal Medicine specialist situated in The Colony, TX with a focus on Women's Health. A graduate from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 1998. After that, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on 2002. Then she was accepted to fellowship program at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. She completed her subspecialty in Women's Health and Gynecologic Procedures there. After completing her fellowship, she started attending Functional Medicine courses. She completed 8 modules total (7 is required) in July 2021. Now, Dr. Aghdam holds experience in multiple spheres such as Natural and Nutritional Medicine, alternative medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, Thyroid and female hormones, and naturopathic/holistic medicine. In addition, she has published her research on Hormone Replacement Therapy after Breast Cancer during her fellowship program at Mayo Clinic in 2003.
