- After graduating with distinction from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, Dr. Miller completed her orthopaedic residency at the University of Pennsylvania, during which she was engaged in research examining musculoskeletal tissue healing and regeneration. Dr. Miller completed her orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh where she trained under world-leading experts in sports medicine and shoulder surgery.
Dr. Miller has specialized training and technical expertise in the areas of advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to treat sports-related and athletic injuries of the shoulder, hip, and knee. As a surgeon-scientist, her clinical and research focus is anchored in evidence-based medicine with comprehensive, individualized, and state-of-the-art care for all of her patients. She has particular interest in cellular and molecular mechanisms of musculoskeletal tissue repair and regeneration, as well as factors associated with sports-related injuries in the female athlete.
