Summary

• I started my career in nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse graduating from Del-Castle Technical High School. I continued my education and earned an associate degree at Delaware Technical, and Community College then earned a BSN from Wilmington College and a MSN from the University of Delaware. My career path includes surgical staff nurse, oncology/hematology staff nurse, bone marrow transplant staff nurse, radiation oncology nurse practitioner, urgent care nurse practitioner. Other job roles include both undergraduate and graduate education, manager of out- patient cardiology testing area and staff development.
  I am a Certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and I have a Post Masters Certificate in Family Medicine. I also completed a Master’s Program as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in cardiopulmonary health.
  Having worked in multiple roles in cancer care for over 25 years and 22 years of urgent care experience, we discussed merging the roles to provide a more rounded approach to our patients, I presently work as an APRN in the Oncology Express Unit at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center providing care to cancer patients to prevent delay in their treatment plan and/or prevent unnecessary emergency room visits.
  I am Immediate Past President for Delaware Nurses Association, a member of the American Nurses Association, member of Delaware Nurses Associations Advocacy Committee, member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, member of the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and legislation liaison for Delaware Diamond Oncology Nurses Association.
