Summary
- The first dozen of my 29+ years post-residency I worked in community mental health, collaborating with in-and-outpatient teams, managing adults with severe mental illness. In 2007, I joined The Ross Center where I developed expertise in treating anxiety and related disorders (ie OCD, GAD, Panic and Phobias), especially in so far as these appear in women throughout the life cycle. Fall 2019 I joined Veritas Health (now WIP), a group of progressive-minded mental health professionals in Spring Valley-DC. There I perform psychiatric evaluations, second opinions and the pharmacologic management of a variety of conditions. I am a 28-year Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. My most meaningful life pursuit, however, was raising three children (all born during residency), including twins. That endeavor gave me real-world exposure into human neuro-development and allowed a better grasp of the complex lives of hundreds of patients I’ve had the honor to treat.
