• I am an academic physician with over ten years of experience, including extensive experience caring for people with complex psychiatric disorders. I completed my Psychiatry Residency Training at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans where I served as Chief Resident. I began my academic career at the Tulane University School of Medicine where I focused on public psychiatry and indigent patient care. I have directed and participated in interdisciplinary clinical programs in diverse healthcare settings. I have extensive experience in graduate and undergraduate medical education. I served as the Co-Director of the Psychiatry Residency Training Program and directed medical education for the resident physicians. I have participated in scholarly activities at the local, regional, and national level.
