Leslie Ann Banks, DNP, ARNP, AGNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner, licensed in CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, LA, MT, ND, NH, NM, NV, SD, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WA.

Leslie began her nursing career in 2011 as a nurse in the long-term care and sub-acute settings. This is where she found her passion: working with the most vulnerable community to provide the most optimal care needed. She pursued her Bachelor of Science Degree at Florida International University in 2017, then continued on at FIU to complete her Master of Science Degree in 2021, and then her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in 2023.

During her doctorate studies at Florida International University, her capstone research project focused on educating patients in the primary care setting on obesity management. Dr. Banks, NP, has been on her own life long journey of obesity and is actively on GLP-1 compounds.
