Summary

  • Dr. Leonard Ginsburg is Chairman of Moore Eye Institute, Founder and CMO of Dynamic Health Records/DHRpro, and Chairman of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. For more than 20 years, he was one of the only retina specialists in the U.S. also to be a certified Diabetes Educator. Dr. Ginsburg founded Moore Eye Institute which has grown into one of the largest multispecialty institutions in the Philadelphia region. He is well known for his work and lectures in diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and the links between religion and medicine.

After working with electronic medical records, Dr. Ginsburg realized that they create a barrier between doctors and patients. For several years, he worked with a team of physicians and industry leaders to develop a solution that will help all doctors, not just eye doctors. This solution harnesses the power of technology to synthesize all aspects of the patient’s medical condition into one universal actionable dashboard; thus, enabling improved care and reduced medical errors while helping doctors meet regulations.

Dr. Ginsburg has been involved in numerous research projects, articles, and the introduction of new technologies. He has authored many papers such as Focal Points: Diabetic Retinopathy: Classification, Progression and Management for the American Academy of Ophthalmology; and Revealing Retina – What All Physicians Should Know for the American Society of Retina Specialists. He served as the National Council Vice-Chairman of the American Medical Association Ophthalmology Section, representing all major ophthalmology organizations and served as Regional President of the American Diabetes Association. He received countless awards and in 2006, was chosen as National Physician of the Year by the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Physician Advisory Board.
