- I am Board Certified Ophthalmologist, and was one of the original 100 surgeons chosen for the AMO foldable IOL Beta testing before 1985. I learned phaco surgery during its infancy in 1978. I have been offering Laser for glaucoma treatment since ALT and Yag LPI were introduced in 1978-79.
