- After 22 years of oncology, dialysis, military, camp, and home health nursing I was able to return to school using veterans benefits to become an adult and geriatric APRN. After a career enriching locum position in addiction medicine, I am currently doing house calls in a home based palliative care program and caring for many patients in facilities for several HMOs who contract services for their most at risk clients.
