  • Dr. Van Doren received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed residency at University of Southern California/ Los Angeles County. She then completed Hematology & Oncology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where she served as chief fellow from 2017-2019. Dr. Van Doren’s clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of bleeding and clotting disorders, with a special emphasis in women’s health. She has a particular interest and pregnancy related hematologic disorders, such as hemolytic disease of the fetus (HDFN) and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (NAIT). Other areas of expertise include difficult-to-manage blood disorders, including antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APLS), heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP).
