Dr. Lawrence Hammer is a pediatrician based in Palo Alto, CA, specializing in general pediatrics, as well as obesity and concomitant eating disorders. He completed his pediatrics residencies at Stanford and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after graduating from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1976. Dr. Hammer has a focus on childhood obesity and child health promotion and has contributed to the field through several publications, some of which have been cited multiple times in other works. He received the Regional Top Doctor award from Castle Connolly in 2014 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
