Summary
- A healthy spine is key to whole body health. We use our spine for some of the simplest of tasks (sitting up straight, bending over, picking up objects, walking, twisting and turning your head), and when injured it’s impossible to ignore. I spend a great deal of time educating patients about their overall health, and how to prevent further spinal injury.
I specialize in both pediatric and adult spinal disorders. I treat all areas of the spine - cervical, thoracic, and lumbar - with both nonsurgical treatments and some highly advanced surgical procedures. I specialize in deformity correction, revision spine surgery, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, disc herniation, nerve impingement, and stenosis. When able, I utilize minimally invasise and motion sparing techniques.
When I’m not treating patients, I enjoy traveling and lecturing at various universities, mentoring the younger generation, and educating life-long learners. Throughout my professional career, I have worked for the advancement of spinal orthopedic treatments, with my findings published in various medical journals.
