• Laura E. Vernon, MD has been a pediatric neurologist at Lurie Children's since 2021. She is board certified in Child Neurology and Neonatal Neurocritical Care. Her clinical work includes seeing patients in several settings throughout the Lurie Children's and Northwestern medical systems. She is a neurology consultant in the neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) at Lurie Children's and Prentice Women's Hospital and provides long-term neurodevelopmental follow-up for NICU graduates in her outpatient clinic. In addition, Dr. Vernon works as a neurology consultant through The Chicago Institute for Fetal Health. She also provides outpatient services for the assessment and management of general neurologic conditions in children at any age.
