Summary
- I am a practitioner of Interventional Pain Medicine with ABMS board certifications in both Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. My medical school training was at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. I completed my PM&R residency training at the Georgetown University Medical Center/National Rehabilitation Hospital program in Washington, DC. I completed my Pain Medicine fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System program in Richmond, Virginia. After my fellowship, I continued working at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center. I was awarded an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System School of Medicine. For the next 11 years, I returned to the Midwest and practiced in Overland Park, KS. My family and I made the big decision to relocate to central Florida, and I currently practice in the Tampa Bay area.
