I am a board certified emergency room physician working almost exclusively in a community based hospital with an emergency room that sees nearly 20k visits/year in rural Iowa. I have served as the EMS director for most of the referring EMS groups and have over 20 tears experience as the ER Medical Director. I enjoy teaching students and residents, and gravitate to leadership opportunities. I enjoy problem solving at the system and departmental levels. Mostly though, I do enjoy patient care and value the patient interaction.
