- Dr. Lance Alquran is a critical care medicine specialist, who is now part of the Apogee Physicians Travel Medicine team. He completed Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he served as house staff representation on the Medical Board. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center, where he was elected as PGY-3 Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Alquran is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the ABIM, and is in the process of obtaining dual certification in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Alquran is experienced in resuscitation of critically ill patients, point of care ultrasound, electrocardiography, central venous catheter placement, dialysis access placement, arterial line placement, thoracentesis/chest tube placement, PICC/Midline placement, bedside percutaneous tracheostomy, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, endotracheal intubation and ventilator management.
