Summary
- Dr. Jungles grew up in the Chicagoland area and completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame. There she founded a chapter of the Student Food Allergy Network, which helped college students navigate their food allergies on campus. She then went on to complete her medical training at Rush Medical College, followed by a residency in general pediatrics at the University of Michigan, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. As both a medical student and resident, she was closely involved in food allergy research. During residency, she was selected to attend the ACAAI National Conference as a SPARK Scholar. Dr. Jungles is currently completing her second year of allergy/immunology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL and is serving as the senior FIT representative on the ACAAI Board of Regents. As an individual with food allergies, Dr. Jungles' primary interests include food allergy research and advocacy efforts. She is also actively involved in projects and research which aim to address and improve health care disparities within the field of Allergy and Immunology.
