Summary
- As an orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in orthopaedic oncology, I specialize in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the bones and soft tissues. I treat patients of all ages - from the infant to the octogenarian.
In addition to oncology, I also specialize in joint replacement surgery of the hips and knees. My skill set as an orthopaedic oncologist requires expertise in complex joint reconstructions. That means I am competent in not only basic hip and knee replacement surgeries, but also more challenging cases. I routinely see referrals requiring my specialized skill set.
My research interests include improving the techniques used in the treatment of benign bone tumors and sarcomas, and improving peri-operative patient care. I am also active in resident and medical student education and mentoring.
