Summary
- A New Jersey native currently completing my MD/PhD at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans. Graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a double major in Biology and Toxicology . Afterwards, spent two years as a research associate at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA before moving down to Louisiana for medical school.
I have spent my graduate school training under the mentorship of David J. Lefer in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. My thesis involved studying nitric oxide signaling and protein nitrosylation dynamics in preclincal models of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
I look to continue to develop both my clinical and research foundation to progress into an eventual career as an independent physician scientist.
