- Dr. Kwan Lee FSCAI FACC, Associate Professor Clinical Medicine has been on faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson since 2009. Originally from Malaysia, he earned his medical degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, graduating in 2000. He completed his residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Arizona and Emory. Dr. Lee is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Medicine.
He is currently the Cardiovascular Medical Service Line Director for Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, the Associate Chief of Cardiology at the Sarver Heart Center and Associate Program Director for the Cardiovascular Fellowship. He is the Governor of the American College of Cardiology Arizona Chapter and is a member of the SCAI International Committee, serving as the ASEAN liaison.
His research interests include simulation in interventional cardiology education and stent healing.
