Summary
- I have been a Physician Assistant since 1993. I've worked in a variety of practice locations -- emergency departments, urgent cares, and private family practice. I've taught for over twenty years -- community college, state university, online. I am a wife, a mother, a patient advocate, and a life-long learner.
I have a particular interest in end-of-life care discussions and advance directives. As a physician assistant, I help my patients understand what to consider when completing healthcare proxy forms, advance directives, and MOLST/POLST. I also explore when and how PAs can effectively have these difficult conversations with their patients.
