Kristina Plesons NP

Summary

• Kristina has been a practicing RN since 2007 with background in critical care, cardiology, internal and functional medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007, graduating magna cum laude. She also received her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University in 2013. She is a certified Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. She has been practicing functional medicine since 2014 when she joined Dr. Schoenwalder's practice. Her goal is to focus on the person as a whole, and optimize their health through preventive medicine and holistic approach. She is trained in prolozone, PRP, and bio-identical hormone replacement.
  
  Kristina is married with two sons, Will and Luke, and her lab named Max. She enjoys the outdoors and loves gardening, fishing, kickboxing, and spending time with her family and friends. With her background in nursing, she feels it is important to treat the patient as a whole and believes that healing is a matter of mind, body, and spirit. Her goal is to help educate patients about wellness, anti-aging and preventive medicine, and allow patients to have an active role in their healthcare.
