Summary

• I enjoy laparoscopic surgery.
  I relate well with teens and am a strong advocate for women's health.
  I've participated with Shenandoah University's Physician Assistant Program. I give several lectures each year, and I traveled with them to Leon, Nicaragua. I've been a preceptor on the week long medical mission trip three times, and each time I learn something new from the amazing and hard working women of Leon.
  Currently, I am focusing my medical mission work in Jacmel, Haiti. I am able to perform gynecological surgery thanks to the efforts of the Community Coalition for Haiti and Dr. Laura Dabinett. I continue to grow as a surgeon due to the complexity of the cases, but more importantly, I've grown in my faith. These women are truly heroic.
