- Dr. Kiwon Lee is an academic stroke and critical care neurologist in New Brunswick, NJ and is director of comprehensive stroke center and director of neuro-intensive care unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He is full time professor of neurology and neurosurgery at Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He received specialty degree in neurology from SUNY Stony Brook, subspecialties in stroke and neurocritical care from Massachusetts General/Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has been a specialist for about 20 years. He has more than 250 publications and over 500 citings. He has trained a large number of residents, fellows and scholars-including faculty neurologists, neurosurgeons and intensivistst from United States and other countries. He has given numerous invited lectures around the world. His textbook, The Neuro ICU Book by McGraw-Hill is one of the most popular textbooks and used as standard text in many countries around the world (translated in three languages).
